The International Partnership for Nuclear Disarmament Verification (IPNDV) is an ongoing initiative of countries with and without nuclear weapons working to identify and develop practical solutions to the technical and procedural challenges associated with effectively verifying nuclear disarmament.
Verification is not as straightforward as it sounds. It is a system requiring a set of tools and multiple approaches, such as on-site inspections, satellite imagery, data collection, and remote monitoring.
